What else could anyone want?

It's all there:  a comfortable chair, my doggie and most of my circular knitting needles hanging from my lamp.  Oh, and there is the remote control!

The old doggie has had a tough time lately.  He scratched his right cornea and then there appeared a big red spot on his eye.  The blood vessels in his eye had apparently coagulated.  The vet gave him some salve and he is now on the mend, being his usual fidgety self and yapping and being demanding again.  Talk about being spoilt, the dog not me.

  1. He's a rat terrier. He has slowed down a bit since he is about 13-1/2 to 14 years old. He was a foundling. I found him running loose and injured in the prison parking lot in which I worked. I've never bought a dog; they always seem to find me when it's time to put the previous one to sleep.

  2. Oh,Renate, so kind of you to take care of this dog! Dogs are so good company. Many years ago when I live as a farmer I had a Border Collie called Robin, he was my first dog and what a good pal he was.
I am so happy that you rat terrier is getting better. He is rather old, but I hope he can live many years still.

  3. Yep. Looks lie you have everything that you need! A loyal lap-dog to keep each other warm, your knitting & the remote. Circular needles hanging from your lamp, I like that idea. I wonder if I could get away with that? Ha ha.
